SOZO Ministry

What is Sozo Ministry?

Sozo ministry is a guided prayer session with the goal of addressing root issues that hinder your relationship with God and others.
Sozo is NOT counseling. It’s a gentle, yet powerful, tool for inner healing and deliverance.
Goal: Uncover and address root issues that hinder your personal growth and relationship with God & others.

Sozo Defined in Scripture

Sozo is the Greek word that is translated to “saved, healed, and delivered”. Sozo carries the concept of ministering to the whole person in spirit, soul, and body (1 Thessalonians 5:23).

Salvation

“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save (SOZO) what was lost (Luke 19:10).

Healing

“But Jesus turning and seeing her said, “Daughter, take courage, your faith has made you well (SOZO) and at once the woman was made well (SOZO).” (Matthew 9:22)

Deliverance

“And those who had seen it reported to them how the man who was demon-possessed had
been made well (SOZO).” (Luke 8:36)
What to Expect/How Sozo Works
There will be 1-3 Sozo ministers in the room who are praying for you and guiding you through a process of connecting with God.
As the Holy Spirit leads, you’ll be invited to ask Father God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit questions about:
       1) Lies you’re believing
       2) Wounds that need healing
       3) People to forgive
       4) Unhealthy relational and/or generational ties
       5) Sins to renounce

Should I pursue a Sozo session?

  • Does God feel distant?
  • Are past traumas unresolved and affect your relationships or ability to progress in life?
  • Are you trapped in cycles of anxiety, depression or sin?
If YES, then Sozo is a great step toward freedom and healing!
No minister is paid for ministering a Sozo, but we do allow for donations to go toward the further training and development of our Sozo ministry team.  Due to the extensive training and commitment of our Sozo team we suggest a $45 donation for a Sozo session.

We believe you’ll come away with a fresh revelation of God’s love and truth in your areas of pain.
