RISE

Our Young Adults group is a ‘College & Career Group' that’s open to those in their 20’s and 30’s.
It is called ‘Rise’ after Isaiah 60:1-2.

ISAIAH 60:1-2

“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you.”

God is so passionate about this age group and they carry so much influence on the community around them! We want to equip this generation to truly rise up and shine brightly for the Kingdom of God in such a time as this!

Thursdays 6:30pm-8:30pm
We meet in a house church (Tukwila) and regularly have other larger events offsite.

Rise Retreat 2023

Fox Island, WA

This year's Rise Retreat was a blast! We got to grow closer with Jesus and each other through worship and studying God's Word together. The weekend also consisted of some great memories involving food, fun, laughter and enjoying God's beautiful creation together!

Mike Molner

Youth & Young Adults Pastor

Mike is a Burien native who previously attended Hope years ago. He moved away to fill a pastoring position in WA serving as Youth Pastor & Worship Leader. He was blessed to have the opportunity to move back to Burien and pour into the community he knows and loves. He and his wife have two daughters.

Michelle Berger

Deacon of Connections

Michelle has been a member of Hope since 2015, serving within various ministries, specifically H.S.S.M. and Young Adults; she's also been connected with Hope's previous Pastor, Anthony Simmons, for decades. To get connected, plugged in, and assimilated into Hope Christian, there is no better person to talk to! Michelle is passionate about helping you grow in God's calling on your life.
